Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-05-10

This Privacy Policy explains how SixSignal handles information when you use the SixSignal iOS app and related beta versions.

1. Controller / Responsible Party

The provider responsible for SixSignal is:

Christopher Asche
Frauenknechtstr. 2D
91710 Gunzenhausen
Germany
Email: chrishq.dev+sixsignal@gmail.com

2. What SixSignal Does

SixSignal is a personal check-in and reflection app. It lets you rate six signals — Body, Focus, Output, People, Agency, and Meaning — and uses those entries to show patterns, weekly summaries, reminders, and optional share cards.

3. Data Processed in the App

Depending on your use of the app, SixSignal may process the following data on your device:

Current product intent: check-in data is designed to remain private and local to the app unless you explicitly export or share a summary.

4. Data Collection and Transmission

SixSignal is intended to work without an account and without sending your check-in history to a SixSignal server.

Current state to verify before publishing: If the app does not use analytics, crash reporting, backend sync, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking SDKs, state that no personal check-in data is collected by the developer. If you later add analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, user accounts, support forms, or third-party SDKs, update this policy and App Store privacy answers before release.

5. Notifications

If you enable reminders, SixSignal schedules local notifications on your device. These reminders are optional and can be turned off in the app settings or iOS Settings. Notification scheduling is handled by iOS.

6. TestFlight Beta

During TestFlight beta testing, Apple may provide crash logs, feedback, and related diagnostic information through TestFlight and App Store Connect. This information is handled according to Apple's TestFlight and App Store Connect terms and privacy practices.

Pro features may be unlocked during TestFlight beta to allow testers to evaluate the full product experience.

7. Purchases and Subscriptions

Future versions of SixSignal may offer paid features or subscriptions using Apple's in-app purchase system. Purchases are processed by Apple. SixSignal does not receive your full payment card details.

During beta testing, purchases may be disabled or simulated depending on the TestFlight configuration.

8. Sharing

If you create a share card, the app generates a summary image based on your weekly report. You decide whether to share or save that image. The share card is designed not to include raw check-in history or daily scores.

9. Legal Basis for Processing

If GDPR applies, the legal bases may include:

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. You can contact us at chrishq.dev+sixsignal@gmail.com.

Because SixSignal is intended to store check-in data locally, you may also be able to delete app data by deleting the app from your device. Add exact in-app deletion instructions here if applicable.

11. Data Retention

Locally stored app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear it through app functionality if available, or uninstall the app. Support emails or beta feedback may be retained as long as necessary to respond and improve the app.

12. Third-Party Services

Current expected third parties:

Add any analytics, crash reporting, backend, newsletter, or support tools here before publishing if used.

13. Children

SixSignal is not intended for children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
